As reported by WA Beta Info, WhatsApp is planning to offer a chatbot in Messenger. You can write to them and you will then be informed about news. The bot should also have tips and tricks ready for you. According to the blog, if you don’t want to receive any messages from the bot, you can also switch off the function.
So far, WhatsApp has only informed you about changes in Messenger with status messages. It remains to be seen whether this practice will be continued after the introduction of the chatbot.
