White shirt: This fashionable all-rounder should not be missing in summer

Sometimes short, sometimes long, sometimes with pants, sometimes as a dress: White shirts can be worn in all variations this summer.

Fashion can sometimes be as simple as it is brilliant – and the white long-sleeved shirt proves it. It has long since ceased to belong only to men's wardrobes and has also served as the basis for feminine looks. For example, Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts (38, "Don't Cha") shows in London how a supposedly simple shirt becomes a chic eye-catcher. She simply combines the oversize part with a black mini skirt and white pumps. With sunglasses on your nose, the summer look is perfect.

Stefanie Giesinger wears the shirt as a cardigan

Model Stefanie Giesinger (23) doesn't button her white shirt at all, but uses it as a kind of cardigan. Underneath, she wears a bustier that gives a view of her well-toned stomach. Somewhat more revealing above, then covered below: The 23-year-old also adheres to this rule of thumb. For her summer look, she chooses airy high-waisted trousers made of flowing fabric.

Chiara Ferragni chooses the knotted variant

Entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni (33) shows what it looks like if the rule of thumb is not observed. The Italian relies on a bold combination of a knotted shirt and tight shorts. The style is somewhat reminiscent of Britney Spears' "… Baby One More Time" look from the nineties and is probably more suitable for the evenings. If it gets cool, Ferragni uses a black leather jacket, which gives the otherwise uniform white look contrast.

Leonie Hanne stages the shirt as a dress

Fashion blogger and influencer Leonie Hanne (31) cannot speak of uniform white. She skilfully stages her white shirt blouse by wearing it as a short dress. Overknee boots, a bag and eyeshadow in summery mustard yellow provide colored highlights. An oversize blazer with trendy shoulder pads as well as a large gold chain and sunglasses round off the look harmoniously.
