The educational pedigee of prominent British royalty has been scrutinized by the Oxford Royal institution.
To designate “the smartest member” of the British royal family, the Oxford Royale institution relied on the QS World University Rankings, which ranks universities according to their academic prestige and the ratio of graduate students. Reported by the New York Post, Friday, December 24, the study crowns the former actress and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The forty-something takes first place, thanks to the obtaining of several degrees at Northwestern University, located in Illinois. Holder of a double degree in theater and international relations from the prestigious college, she is positioned at the thirtieth place of the world ranking QS World University in 2021.
The controversial American is ahead of Kate Middleton, the second smartest royal member. The Duchess of Cambridge, ranked 91st in the world, studied at Saint Andrews University. Before high school, she was educated at a private high school where she excelled in math, arts and English.
Prince Harry absent from the leading pack
Prince William, who has also surveyed the walls of Saint Andrews, is the third crowned head of the ranking, followed by his cousins: Princess Eugenie (Newcastle University), Peter Phillips (Exeter University), Zara Tindall (Exeter University), Princess Anne (University of Aberdeen), Lady Kitty Spencer (University of Cape Town, European Business School). Camilla Parker Bowles (SOAS University of London) and Princess Beatrice (Goldsmiths, University of London) close the top 10. Prince Harry does not appear in this list of crowned and full heads who rub shoulders with Elizabeth II.
