Who should win? – Vote now: The final of the World Car Awards!

The largest car award in the world is entering its 20th edition: A jury consisting of more than 100 motor journalists from 29 countries worldwide, including “Krone” motor editor Stephan Schätzl, selected the shortlists for the World Car Awards in round one – now It’s all about victory and the jurors give their detailed assessments. Awards are presented in six car categories. Vote for who you think should win!

It’s the round of winners: the main category World Car of the Year included a total of 38 candidates. As always, only ten of them made it through the first round and made it onto the shortlist. This means: Unfortunately, 28 models have to be left out of the finale, including big names like Peugeot 408, Citroen C3 Aircross or Mazda CX-50. In luxury In the World Luxury Car category, eight candidates fell by the wayside in the first round, including the Ineos Grenadier and the Nio ET7. And here they are Candidates in the picture: In the fast group, the World Performance Car category, the number of candidates was significantly larger than last year, when only three makes had to watch in the final. There were 32 in total, 27 failed at the final hurdle, including Hyundai Kona Electric, Lotus Eletre and Abarth 500e. This is how it continues: On February 26th, part of the jury’s voting will be announced: the three top candidates will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show named for each category. The winners will be announced on April 27, 2024 at the New York International Auto Show – live on World Car TV.
