Fans of ‘The Walking Dead’ universe have expressed their displeasure as it has been teased that the Maggie and Negan-centric spin-off could span multiple seasons.
Barely a few months after the end of the main series, the universe of The Walking Dead is already making a comeback with the launch on June 19 of Dead City, a spin-off starring Maggie and Negan. In anticipation of the launch of the program, Lauren Cohan was interviewed by our colleagues from the New York Post on the challenges of this spin-off. The opportunity for the interpreter of Maggie to confirm that Dead City was not designed as a mini-series, despite a shortened format of only six episodes.
We are ready to go beyond the first season. The television landscape is different and a little more disturbing than before. But we hope that the broadcast of the series will go well and that we can go to a season 2, 3, 4 or 5. We have only cracked the eggshell, and now we can make an omelette .
If the interpreters of Maggie and Negan are ready to extend the adventures of their characters for several seasons, it would still be necessary to ensure that the fans are there.
