AWARDS – The list of nominees for the 37th Victoires de la Musique was revealed on Monday evening. Cited in four categories each, Orelsan and Clara Luciani are on track to triumph at the ceremony which will take place on February 11.

Dominating is not winning… but it can help! Orelsan and Clara Luciani are the big favorites of the 37th Victoires de la Musique ceremony which will take place on February 11 at the Seine Musicale, in Boulogne-Billancourt. The rapper and the singer are notably named in the queen categories, best male artist and best female artist, as well as in that of the album of the year.
OrelSan, 39, confirms his popularity after a controversial debut. Civilization, released in November, is the best-selling album in France in 2021, with more than 335,000 copies. “The Smell of Gasoline”, his first committed single, was named in the song of the year category. The rapper is also named in the audiovisual creation of the year category with the documentary never show that to anyone, broadcast on Prime Video.

With “Heart”, released in June 2021, Clara Luciani, 29, signed a second both feminist and dancing, which sold more than 155,000 copies last year.
