Already mother of Jenna (2 years old) and Manel (14 years old, from a previous relationship), the young woman faces various obstacles to breastfeed her little third, a little boy named Aaron born on April 19, 2021, and this , despite his previous experiences.

A few days ago, on her Instagram story, she confided to be ” suffering “ due to his very swollen and painful chest. Her son was not sucking properly. “He has trouble sucking compared to Jenna and Manel where it was fluid”, she explains. Obviously suffering from engorgement, Wafa made a mistake, which many mothers make, in thinking they could solve the problem. “My chest has tripled in size, it hurts too much. And the big mistake I made, I think it was to use the breast pump ”, she explains. Because yes, in case of engorged breasts, the last thing to do is to use a breast pump. This will stimulate lactation and make the situation worse. The best solution is to relieve the pain in a hot shower, and wait for the chest to soften.

A good decision
Lucky for her and her son, Wafa has finally found her rhythm. A few days ago, not being able to feed him, the young mother made him drink formula milk. A good idea since little Aaron was obviously very hungry, “He drank everything at once”. She also found that her breast was way too hard for her baby to suckle successfully.

After making it more flexible in the shower, everything worked out. “Now breastfeeding is rolling”, she rejoices. To continue this momentum, Wafa has made the decision to continue with mixed breastfeeding, alternating breast milk at the breast and infant formula in the bottle.
