On December 21, 2020, during the winter solstice, the two largest planets in the solar system Jupiter and Saturn will operate what is called "a great planetary conjunction". Hyper proximity seen from Earth, which is the subject of all the attention of astronomers and especially astrologers, because the phenomenon has not taken place since 1623. What does this imply?
What is a conjunction?
Let us first recall what is called a geocentric conjunction. This means that by observing the planets from Earth, we see them close together, aligned on the same axis. For the image to speak to you, it would be as if the Earth was the center axis of a clock and the hands pointing to Jupiter and Saturn overlapped on December 21.
This conjunction (approximation) of Jupiter and Saturn already only happens every 20 years, but this year the closeness will be such that the last time this phenomenon took place was July 16 … 1623! And next time you might miss it since it will happen again in 2080.
In astrology, this extraordinary conjunction indicates a complementarity of the energies of these planets. But we will come back to this later.

December 21 is the date of the winter solstice, the time of year when the night is longest, when there is the least light (and after this date the days get longer, that, c is the good news!).
In astrology, this return of the light which announces the spring represents a turning point too: it symbolizes rebirth after a dark period, abundance after a poor period, a renewal of energy which is announced.

The astro significance of the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn this year
Saturn is a planet associated with responsibilities, limitations, maturity, and discipline. When Jupiter, she symbolizes recovery, healing, teachings, and luck.
In view of the year 2020 that we have just experienced, this hyper rare conjunction which occurs during the winter solstice indicates a real rebirth, a springboard, as if we had to learn the lessons of the pandemic and its consequences, and start again on new bases.

This conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter separated by 0.1 degrees, according to astronomers, heralds a noticeable change on a world scale. And this, in a collective drive.
