A 41-year-old local guest and a waiter (45), both Turkish citizens, got into an argument with insults in a downtown restaurant in Linz on Monday evening. Then the argument escalated: The guest hit the waiter in the face with a glass from close range. The result was multiple, deep cuts on the 45-year-old. The rioter himself initially fled.Arrest or resistanceThe investigators were able to track down the thug – he allowed himself to be arrested at his home address without resistance and was taken to the police detention center.
