Shortly after Willi Herren’s death, his food truck also burned down completely. With the “Rievkoochebud 2.0” he should be honored.

With an almost an hour Video post on Instagram Desiree and Jörg Hansen, former business partners of the late Willi Herren (1975-2021), announced that they would restart the destroyed food truck of the “Lindenstrasse” star. The potato fritter cart, in which Herren was also at the stove, burned down completely shortly after his death for reasons as yet unknown. Now the plan is to open the “Rievkoochebud 2.0” in memory of gentlemen, according to the Instagram video.

The couple asserts: “We don’t want to play jokes in any way and put Willi in the foreground so that we are fine here.” Rather, the new truck should be a symbol for the fans and so “we can just let Willi go on living”. Desiree Hansen of course knows “that it is not the same and that you cannot do the same and that it is not the same feeling as the one where he is [Willi Herren, Anm. d. Red.] stood there and fried potato pancakes “.

Herren recently tried to get out of debt with the food truck. On April 20, 2021, the star was found dead at the age of only 45.
