We weren’t expecting it anytime soon, but a feature available on Insiders versions has been deployed on the stable version of Windows 10

A new update has landed on Windows 10. Known as KB5011543, it is available on OS versions 20H2, 21H1, and 21H2, which go to build numbers 19042.1620 respectively. 19043.1620 and 19044.1620.
Windows Search brightens up
This is a minor update, but still brings new functionality to users, which is not often the case with this kind of small cumulative upgrade.
The feature is named Search Highlights and concerns, as its name suggests, the Windows search space which is accessed, among other things, from the taskbar.
From now on, this interface element will display certain information relating to today’s date, such as birthdays, public holidays or specific celebrations (Earth Day for April 22 for example). It can also offer activities close to the user’s location and provide information on the trendiest searches of the moment on Bing.
For the enterprise versions, this data is replaced by more useful information for professional life, such as tips for your Microsoft 365 account.
Patches galore
The KB5011543 update also brings many fixes. In some login menus, the back button became invisible in dark mode with the highest contrast, this should no longer be the case.
Also, an issue has been resolved preventing Android users from connecting to certain Microsoft ecosystem applications, such as Outlook or Teams. In addition, some Windows 10 devices could display an error message due to Bluetooth pairing, the problem should have been fixed.
