Windows 11: New experimental features planned
Microsoft continues to work hard on Windows 11 and recently announced some improvements and innovations. This includes Android apps on the computer, a redesigned taskbar and a new design for programs such as Notepad and Media Player. Driven by this, there should be another fundamental change in 2022. Testers will soon be able to experimental features of Windows 11 to scrutinize closely.
If necessary, Windows Insider participants will be able to decide for themselves in future whether they want to import brand new functions via updates to their PC or notebook. Microsoft promises to pay more attention to the feedback of the testers. New features should only be released for everyone if the feedback is positive (source: Microsoft Blog).

As part of this ongoing development, Windows Insiders will see us relying more heavily on the Dev Channel to generate new ideas (…). In some cases, these Concepts never come to marketbut by experimenting more, we can better refine experiences and provide new solutions for Windows.

Microsoft has secret features tested in advance
In the past, Microsoft had already carried out A/B tests in which only some of the testers were allowed to try out new features. This is likely to happen even more frequently in the future, because Microsoft will not always document changes in detail in order to await the reaction of users.
