Winter masks: Warm and stylish virus protection for cold days

Now it's time to dress warm! This does not only apply to hats, scarfs and winter jackets. When it comes to masks, too, it is now cozy and warm.

They are available with or without print, colorful or plain colors and of course in a wide variety of materials: masks have become our constant companions during the corona pandemic – and they will probably remain so in the winter months. That is why there are now cuddly mouth and nose covers that not only keep you warm, but are also stylish.

With falling temperatures, the risk of catching a cold and infection increases. That's why effective virus protection is now more important than ever. The problem: masks made of conventional material protect against viruses, but not against the cold. Models with integrated earmuffs made of fleece are just the thing for cold days, especially when the autumn wind whistles around the corners.

If that's too much for you, you can also make do with a double-layer cotton mask, so your face and especially your sensitive nose stay nice and warm. Ski bunnies get their money's worth in a completely different way. Although many providers have not yet determined what the start of this year's ski season will look like, some of the equipment will still be used safely. The ski mask can be converted into winter virus protection without further ado. The warm fleece material, which is usually hidden under helmets and ski goggles, serves us well in cold Corona times.

When buying, it is important to pay attention to the breathability of the fabric so that nothing stands in the way of a nice autumn walk or jogging in the fresh air.
