Acting to defend the rights of women, the Women's Foundation has launched a new movement, called #RegardeMoiBien. His goal ? Recognize women, their words and their demands. This new initiative was relayed on Saturday March 6, 2021 on Instagram by the actress Julie Gayet, as well as by the singer Amel Bent, who received a rather impromptu compliment during the show The Voice broadcast on TF1.

Amel Bent thus posed for one of the photos of the advertising campaign of the movement #RegardeMoiBien. On the picture in question, we can see the face of the current coach of The Voice, which was ignored by a contestant of the show, accompanied by the following message: "Look at me when I say no". A text written in white capital letters, on a purple background. For his part, Julie Gayet collaborated in the #RegardeMoiBien movement by playing in the campaign video clip, alongside Muriel Robin and Anna Mouglalis in particular. This spot will be visible from Monday, March 8, 2021.

Julie Gayet: "You have to look at women in the right way"

The one who shares the life of the former President of the Republic François Hollande has relayed many photos taken as part of the #RegardeMoiBien initiative, for raise awareness of the condition of women, as well as the violence and discrimination they suffer on a daily basis. In addition to the photo of Amel Bent, Julie Gayet also shared other photos on which we can recognize the actresses Sandrine Bonnaire, Aure Atika and Nadège Beausson-Diagne. In addition, Julie Gayet had spoken about this new movement initiated by the Foundation for Women at the microphone of Pascale Clark on Sunday February 28, 2021 on Europe 1. "The message is simple: we must look at women in the right way when they speak out, when they ask for equal pay", had explained the actress. In addition to the pictures taken for the #RegardeMoiBien movement, Julie Gayet also shared some messages such as: "Women receive on average a salary 24% lower than that of men". According to figures relayed by the Interministerial Mission for the Protection of Women Victims of Violence and the Fight against Human Trafficking, it is estimated that 94,000 women are victims of rape and / or attempted rape each year.
