(CercleFinance.com) – The payment solutions provider Worldline announces with sadness the sudden death of the chairman of its board of directors Bernard Bourigeaud, at the age of 79, on Thursday December 14.
Paying tribute to him, the council highlights his roles as a builder through Atos Origin, of one of the largest European digital services companies, and as a pioneer in the consolidation of the payment industry through the beginnings of Worldline.
In accordance with the succession plan, the nominations committee recommended that the interim chairmanship of the board be assumed by Georges Pauget, independent lead director, until the appointment of a new chairman.
