For the month of January, the Xbox Game Pass starts the year with a bang with already eight new titles added to the subscription service including the Mass Effect trilogy, Outer Wilds, Embr or The Anacrusis as soon as it is released.
After adding thousands of dollars worth of games to the service last year and ending the year with some great additions in December, Xbox is kicking off again in 2022 with its Game Pass. Just for the first days of January, there are new gifts at the foot of the tree that are announced. And when you know that the American firm often has fun adding more along the way, even before the second batch at the end of the month…
The year 2022 promises to be beautiful with highly anticipated games at stake. If you haven’t checked out the 2021 releases yet, we’ve made you a little catch-up list of the best games you shouldn’t miss.

So here come particular Mass Effect Legendary Edition to discover or rediscover the trilogy of Commander Shepard’s adventures throughout his intergalactic battles. And for those who have never taken the plunge, this time they can embark on a remastered and optimized version in 4K UHD. Additionally, EA has pulled out all the stops with all the initial single-player content and over 40 DLCs from the various episodes (Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3), as well as weapons or promotional packs that are integrated into this edition.

For another vision of the ride in the solar system, take the road to Outer Wilds. A platform game to explore in your spaceship and discover new planets. Camera in hand, weapons also to protect you, try to unravel the mysteries and secrets of the worlds that present themselves to you.
Spelunky 2 makes you an explorer of procedurally generated caves and ruins. Every action has repercussions in this demanding game to play solo or with friends. Do you rather feel like putting on the firefighter’s uniform? Alone or in a brigade with your friends, set out to put out fires and save lives at the cost of sometimes crazy situations in Embr.
Available upon release The Anacrusis is a first-person, co-op shooter for up to four players. You must get out alive from a spaceship invaded by hordes of aliens. Fight, restart and unlock special abilities in this game with a very 1970s universe.

And if co-op is your thing, Microsoft is going all out in January with the arrival as soon as they release Rainbow Six Extraction, the next big title from Ubisoft that will make you fight aliens in a team of 1 to 3 players. More original and by the developers of the excellent Guacamelee, Nobody Saves the World launches on January 18 and offers an action RPG with a unique artistic touch where it will be possible to embody all kinds of creatures.
