Xbox Series X: New Microsoft console should appear in November

Good news and bad news from Microsoft: The Xbox Series X will be released in November – but without a real draft horse.

So far, Microsoft has made a well-kept secret of when the new Xbox Series X console will hit the market. All the more surprising now the happy news for all gamers that Microsoft has officially announced: The new flagship of the technology giant will be launched on the market in November of this year and thus in all probability before the competition from Sony.

According to the industry website "The Verge", it is even possible that the Xbox Series X will be in stores around the world as early as the beginning of November – in less than three months. The Playstation 5, on the other hand, will almost certainly only appear shortly before Christmas – a clear advantage for Microsoft?

Draft horse "Halo" has to be moved

Not quite, because at the same time as the November release, the company published pretty bad news for all possible customers. The game "Halo Infinite" will not be a launch title after all and will definitely not be released until 2021. The new Xbox lacks a so-called "system seller" at the beginning – a title for which it is worth buying the new console on its own.

However, there will still be enough gaming at the start, promises Microsoft and once again mentions downward compatibility with all three previous consoles. The press release mentions over 100 games specially optimized for Series X.
