Inexpensive Android tablet from Redmi surfaced

The tablet market is becoming much more interesting again. Since Google announced that Android will be optimized specifically for tablets, many manufacturers seem to have taken the opportunity and launched new tablets. Xiaomi was already there with the Mi Pad 5, but now wants to follow up with a Redmi tablet. the Redmi devices are known for their excellent value for money and could generate a lot of interest in the lower price segment:

The new Android tablet has already been shown on the Chinese social network Weibo. The leaker says that himself the Redmi Pad feels like a Vivo Pad. There isn’t much leeway when it comes to designing cheap Android tablets, so that shouldn’t come as a surprise. The angular design, which goes in the direction of the iPad Air, is striking. How big the Redmi Pad is is difficult to estimate. Looks at least a little bigger than 10 inches. But that is pure speculation. There are no technical data for it yet.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 convinced us:

Is the Xiaomi Redmi Pad coming to Germany?

The chances are good, because Xiaomi is bringing more and more products to Germany. The CE mark at least suggests that it should be offered in Europe. It should be in Move the price range from 200 to 300 euros, i.e. under the Xiaomi Pad 5 (test), which is currently being sold for just over 300 euros (view at Amazon). But it came on the market for 400 euros.

Samsung is getting more and more competition in this price range. This is of course good news for us, because the selection of good and cheap Android tablets is getting bigger and bigger.
