Ratings of the Tour de France women 2023

Who is leading the battle for the yellow jersey in the second edition of the women’s Tour de France? Who is the best sprinter? Who is the best at getting over the mountains and wearing the dotted jersey to the finish of the tour in Pau, which young rider is particularly strong – and who shows the best team performance?

Yellow jersey

The premiere of the Tour de France Femmes took place in 2023, the legendary Tour of France for women was held for the first time. In 2023 the second edition will be on the rise. The cycle tour from Clermont-Ferrand to Pau in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region leads over eight stages. In total, the more than 150 participants have to cover 960.5 kilometers from start to finish.

Green jersey

The top scorer also wears the green jersey at the Tour de France Femmes. Since this rating is usually won by sprint experts because of the flat stages, which has a higher rating, it is commonly called a sprint rating. Since the first stage of the premiere tour was a sprint finish, Lorena Wiebes secured the green jersey in addition to the yellow jersey – which she lost to her compatriot Marianne Vos after the second stage. At the start of 2023, Brit Elizabeth Deignan secured the most points.

Polka Dot Jersey

As with the men, the best female climber wears a polka dot jersey. At the start of the 2023 tour, only six mountain points were awarded – two of which the Belgian Lotte Kopecky secured three. So she not only took over the yellow, but also the dotted jersey.

White jersey

The best young rider in the Tour de France Femmes also rides all in white. In 2022, Maike van der Duin was the first to wear it from the Netherlands. In 2023, on the other hand, Frenchwoman Cedrine Kerbaol was the first to wear the white jersey.

team score

There is also a ranking for the strongest team on the tour. A total of 22 teams are registered for the 2023 tour.
