In Ascona, which is also known as the pearl on Lake Maggiore, you can expect a mild climate, brightly painted houses and Mediterranean flair! The charming old town streets of the former fishing village with the historic village center are worth a visit alone! If you are in Ascona on a beautiful early summer’s day, you should definitely not miss the wonderful lake promenade, which is a wonderful place to linger. The car-free promenade is an ideal place to fully enjoy the coffee break.

On the deep blue Lake Thun, the “gateway to the Bernese Oberland” surrounds the Aare and has a lot to offer for day trippers! The historic center of Thun, the town hall square, is surrounded by venerable buildings and gives the old town, where (hopefully soon again) various celebrations and concerts take place, a very special charm. Right next to it, Thun Castle sits enthroned on a hill and offers a great view of the Alps when the weather is clear. It is the perfect place to let your eyes wander and treat yourself to a refreshing chilled coffee.
