Update 2.4 is fast approaching Genshin Impact and will be an opportunity to discover a new area called Enkanomiya but also to participate in unique events and summon characters on new banners. As a 5-star star in these new greeting banners, you will find Shen He and Xiao. Both will then be accompanied by:
- Yun jin
- Chongyun
- Ningguang
By summoning either of these 5 Star characters, you will have a chance to get the new 4 Star Yun Jin. That being said, if you don’t like Shen He and Xiao (and would rather save for Yae Miko for example), don’t panic: something is happening with the second part of 2.4 and will allow you to receive one of Liyue’s 4 stars for free.
Presentation of Yun Jin and his skills
Yun Jin is a 4-star type spear Geo and will be useful in teams based on normal attacks. It is a famous opera singer and she is part of the Yun-Han troop.
Yun Jin is a support character which increases the normal attack damage of all nearby team characters.
His elemental skill is an attack that charges by holding the dedicated key. While charging, Yun Jin uses a posture before releasing the accumulated energy in a spinning blow with his spear. There are two charge levels, level 1 and level 2. The longer you charge, the higher the charge level will be.
She also creates a shield for herself if you do a charged attack via her elemental skill. Her first passive allows her to launch an attack with a charge level of 2 directly if she gets hit while using her elemental skill. Be careful though because it is only during the launch so the timing is precise.
Its burst allows you to apply a buff to nearby allies that allows you to do additional damage proportional to Yun Jin’s defense when you deal damage from normal attacks. In addition, the bonus offered through the buff increases thanks to his second talent. The latter increase the damage bonus depending on the number of elements in the team.
How to get Yun Jin for free?
It is only from the second half of Update 2.4 that you will be able to get Yun Jin for free. More specifically, it will take part in the Liyue Lantern Festival which takes place from January 25, 2022. This event will not only allow you to obtain a free multi but also the 4 star characters of your choice among:
- Yun jin
- Xingqiu
- Chongyun
- Beidou
- Xiangling
- Ningguang
- Xin yan
- Yan Fei
You will understand, if you want to get Yun Jin, you will have to either summon him via the banner of Shen He or Xiao this week, or wait until January 25 to have it for free.
