In the Yvelines, a taxi driver was stabbed with a cutter by a customer, shortly before two o’clock in the morning on Wednesday August 31. After having committed his act, the latter fled with the vehicle of his victim, left on the side. He was eventually arrested and charged with attempted murder.
A terrible assault. On the night of Tuesday August 30 to Wednesday August 31 in Saint-Forget in the Yvelines, a taxi driver was stabbed, particularly in the neck, with a cutter, by a client he had picked up at the Gare de Lyon in Paris. The suspect then stole the victim’s vehicle, leaving the victim on the roadside.
The 33-year-old driver was hospitalized but his life is not in danger. He was prescribed 10 days of total incapacity for work (ITT).
The suspect already sentenced to 22 years in prison
Thanks to the telephone terminals, the suspect was finally arrested this Friday, September 2 in Eure, Normandyin possession of the stolen car, by the gendarmes of the search section of Versailles.
Well known to justice, the 28-year-old man had been sentenced to 22 years in prison in 2014, after the murder of a 14-year-old teenager, Maxime Roussel, in the Doubs. He was considered “in a state of escape“because he had not returned to prison after his one-day leave.
The young man was indicted for robbery with a weapon recidivism and was remanded in custodysaid the prosecution.
