Zell am See – training of new boat drivers with water rescuers

Boat service is a necessity for lifeguards in the field.

In Zell am See, other emergency services have now been trained as boat drivers. “Water accidents are time-critical emergencies. Help must therefore often be given quickly, but in any case safely. In order to be able to ensure this, a certain amount of skill is required of the boatmen and their crew. After passing the official driver’s license, the actual training for the emergency service begins,” explains rescue adviser Mag. Kling Michael, training manager at the Zell am See water rescue service. 25 certified skippers are now ready for action.
