53-year-old injured – collision with truck trailer: trapped car

During a braking maneuver on a wintry road, the semitrailer of a truck broke out on Monday and crashed into oncoming traffic. A car was trapped between the truck and the guardrail.

On Monday around 11 a.m. there was a traffic accident with personal injury on the Loferer Bundesstraße in Söll in the Bocking area. A 52-year-old Hungarian was driving a truck with a semi-trailer in the direction of St. Johann when he had to brake due to the winter road conditions and the high volume of traffic. A collision with two oncoming cars could no longer be prevented. The car of a 53-year-old Austrian was jammed between the semi-trailer and the guardrail. The car landed in the field The second car, which was driven by a 43-year-old German, was pushed off the road and came to a standstill in the adjacent field. Significant property damage was caused to the two vehicles. The 53-year-old Austrian suffered minor injuries in the traffic accident.
