He pressed on the gas – and how. The Czech billionaire Radim Passer thundered down the German autobahn in his 1500 hp Bugatti Chiron. Specifically: On a section of Autobahn 2 between Magdeburg and Berlin.
In a video he recorded how he got faster and faster. In the end he had an unbelievable 417 km/h on the speedometer. And that on an ordinary freeway, while other cars were also on the road.
The amok drive took place on a morning in July 2021, but was only published in the past few weeks. They’ve been viewed millions of times.

Rage is not forbidden. There is no speed limit on the section. And yet the police have now turned on and are investigating the billionaire. It is about the suspicion of a prohibited motor vehicle race, said a spokeswoman for the central traffic and motorway service of the state police in Hohenwarsleben on Monday. The legal assessment of the process is now up to the public prosecutor’s office.
Radim Passer filmed similar videos on the section of the highway in previous years. In addition to the Bugatti Chiron, Passer also owns the 1001 hp predecessor Veyron. Even with this horsepower monster, he really put his foot down. In May 2015 it broke the 400 km/h mark. (jmh)
