From Software is expected today at the turn around the release ofElden ring, but the studio is not only known for the series of Souls and others. Mecha fans remember it, Armored Core was a major license in the 2000s, but in recent years, the series has not been talked about again. Four years ago, however, we learned that From Software was recruiting artists for a project centered on mechs, but since then nothing. Today, many details are leaked about a brand new episode.
A kind of reboot more Souls oriented?
It is on ResetEra that we learn all this, with a user who indicates having taken a survey about the new game, with supporting screenshots. If he did not want to share these images without compromising his anonymity (given that there is a watermark present on each of them), the images appeared on ResetEra and he was able to capture the text of the game presentation, which he was able to capture. we let you see directly on his post.
He then indicates that he was able to watch two 30-second gameplay videos, with a boss fight and another exploration phase in a snowy area.
The action would take place on the planet Bashtar, and the gameplay would offer a sort of sense of urgency, with demanding combat, in other words the hallmark of the studio. We are then told about mobility that would offer many opportunities to move around the map, without really knowing whether we are talking about an open world or not. He also states thatcooperation may be present.
According to the poll in which he participated, the final title has not yet been decided. The game could then be called Armored Core, quite simply, or Armored Core 6 (or VI), or even not at all mentioningArmored Core.
