This biopic dedicated to the legendary Enzo Ferrari promises to tell the story of the mysterious man behind the founder of the famous car brand.

Lasting 130 minutes, the film takes place in particular during the summer of 1957, when the former Formula 1 driver was in crisis, bankruptcy threatened his business and his tumultuous marriage with his wife Laura broke down. grieving for their only son.

Beyond its history devoted to one of the great figures of the 20th century, Ferrari is especially the next film of Michael Mann. The director of cult films Heat, Ali, Collateral And miami vice had not released a feature film since the failure of hacker in 2015.

Co-written by Mann himself, the film also boasts a flamboyant cast. Along with Adam Driver (Star Wars, Marriage Story), we thus find Penelope Cruz, Sahilene Woodley, Jack O’Connell, Patrick Dempsey or even Sarah Gadon.

Presented in official competition at the 80th Venice Film Festival, which runs from August 30 to September 9, Ferrari is expected for December 25, 2023 in American cinemas.
