After 19 years – the association “day mothers” has a new chairwoman

For almost two decades, Ingrid Salamon was in charge of the “day care mothers” association. At the current General Assembly, she has placed her function in younger hands. Sandra Gerdenitsch was elected as the new successor by the board.

Together with Ingrid Salamon, her deputy Edith Sack left the company. She follows Andrea Netuschil. Family District Councilor Daniela Winkler thanked her for her work over the past few years. “For many families in Burgenland, the day care association is an important alternative to the general childcare offers,” said Winkler. This is exactly where the child minder concept comes into play. 19 childminders and one childcare supervisor currently cover the needs in all districts of the state and also look after the children outside of daycare or kindergarten opening times.
