To everyone’s surprise, Al.Hy saw himself leave The Voice All-Stars on Saturday night, at the battles stage. The 27-year-old, who was part of Jenifer’s team, portrayed David Bowie’s “Life on Mars”. A performance that impressed his coach. But, for the public, her pretty crystalline voice was not able to convince since she was eliminated against the talent of Florent Pagny, Flo Malley. An evening rich in emotions which the singer admits not to remember: “I was so stunned at the end that I really have no memory. I just remember that at one point I needed to sit down because I almost felt unwell, ”she said. in the Télé-Loisirs newspaper. “I was completely confused. Right after the results, I really almost passed out. ” The brutal end of her adventure gave her a “big slap” as she puts it so well.
Very anxious by nature, Al.Hy explained that this stress takes away 90% of his abilities. “It’s annoying, unsettling, when you’re someone who works and you lose your means,” she added.
It must be said that the context was particular for the candidates. The filming of the auditions and battles of The Voice took place at the end of 2020, during confinement. “We didn’t see many people, I hadn’t been back on stage for several years. It all added a lot, ”said the singer.

But Al.Hy was not the only person shaken by this elimination. Indeed, very upset, his coach Jenifer would have left the set for several tens of minutes.
Still according to Télé-Loisirs, the artist’s reaction would have pushed the production to stop filming. A sequence that TF1 has chosen not to show. On Saturday evening, however, we could see Jenifer completely stunned: “Frankly, I’m a little confused. I confess … (…) I am in the most total incomprehension. I am extremely disappointed ”, she breathed after the elimination of her talent. Nikos Aliagas then tried to reassure her: “I’ll tell you, we’re having fun. We play a game with singers, artists… ”But Jenifer cut it off sharply:“ There, that doesn’t amuse me! ” A few minutes later, the coach would therefore have left the plateau for more than half an hour.
