Good news for Alfa Romeo Giulia lovers, since a version 100% electric would be in the boxes.

An electric revolution that the little (and much appreciated) Giulietta, who ended her career a little less than two years ago, will not experience.

Alfa Romeo Giulia: soon a 100% electric version

After unveiling the Estrema versions of the Giulia and Stelvio, i.e. special versions close to the Quadrifoglio versions, the manufacturer Alfa Romeo would consider electrifying its Giulia sedan. In any case, this explains CarScoopsquoting the CEO of the brand, Jean-Philippe Imparato: “ We are not abandoning the Giulia. There will be a new model, and it will be a 100% electric version. »

Before the new generation arrives, the current Alfa Romeo Giulia, first marketed in 2015, is expected to undergo a facelift alongside the Stelvio SUV. Regarding the electric version, the latter would arrive in a few years, with the possibility of considering a Quadrifoglio variant.

On the other hand, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta has not been renewed and therefore cannot claim a future electric model. Remember that the Italian manufacturer has recently formalized Tonale, a new compact SUV available in a plug-in hybrid version. Its ultimate version will be equipped with a 1.3 L Multiair block at the front and an electric block on the rear axle, for a total power of 275 hp.
