All just stolen? This popular Netflix hit faces serious plagiarism allegations

Now the author William Collier is making serious accusations against the streaming service and claims that the plot of the political satire is plagiarism. In his opinion, there are too many similarities with his self-published novel “Stanley’s Comet”, which is why he is suing Netflix for copyright infringement.

However, this is not the first time that such serious plagiarism allegations have been made for the popular streaming service. Previous lawsuits involved successful series such as “Stranger Things” and “Outer Banks,” whose plots were also considered stolen. However, so far such allegations have not been proven.
