“How I Met Your Mother” star Alyson Hannigan donated his home in Los Angeles for a special film shoot.

US actress Alyson Hannigan (47) has on the radio show by Michelle Collins (40) reveal that part of the shooting of the sixth and final season of the hit series “This Is Us” took place at their home in Los Angeles. Previously, the “How I Met Your Mother” star had already turned down several requests to shoot. “The previous owners didn’t actually live here. I think they only rented it out for filming. My house’s résumé is longer than mine,” she joked. Among other things, the thriller “Fracture” is said to have been created there.

In what condition did Alyson Hannigan get the house back?

Initially, the family did not want to make the house, which Hannigan has been living in with husband Alexis Denisof and their two daughters since 2018, available for filming. “I get inquiries at least twice a month because the house is simply known. But we know what productions can do with locations.” But for “This Is Us” the actress made an exception.

On the one hand, the director of the NBC series is your neighbor, on the other hand, the format is “just so good”. The crew then treated the premises “very respectfully” and even made themselves useful. “Not only did they return our house to us in wonderful condition, they also repaired things that I had damaged,” said Hannigan. Filming for the sixth season began in early September, as lead actress Mandy Moore (37) on twitter announced. The premiere is expected in mid-2022.

Popular series star

Hannigan herself had to say goodbye to her own hit streak a few years ago. In autumn 2005 “How I Met Your Mother” started in the USA, in which she could be seen until the series finale in 2014. She played the educator Lily Aldrin on the side of Jason Segel (41) in 206 episodes and nine seasons. In April of this year, the US streaming service Hulu ordered ten episodes of the spin-off “How I Met Your Father” with Hilary Duff (34) in the lead role.
