Just two months after her last stay: Amanda Bynes was admitted back to a psychiatric hospital.
Amanda Bynes (37) was re-admitted to a psychiatric hospital. How “TMZ” reported, the actress was arrested in Los Angeles over the weekend. Previously, someone reported to the police that a woman was in distress. According to “TMZ”, the woman turned out to be Amanda Bynes. The police took the former Nickelodeon child star then in custody. The US portal showed Pictures of Bynes in handcuffs.
Police say Amanda Bynes is a “danger to herself and others,” according to TMZ. She can now be held in the psychiatric hospital for 72 hours. However, an extension of the deadline is possible.
Back in the clinic after only two months
Just two months ago, Amanda Bynes had left a psychiatric facility. On March 19, 2023, the actress was picked up naked on the street and taken into medical care. At that time she had approached a driver and told him that she had just come down from a psychosis. Then she called 911 herself.
Amanda Bynes was under her parents’ guardianship between 2013 and 2022. According to her own statement, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. After the end of the guardianship, she is said to have been fine at first. She lived independently.
