American Horror Stories, the spin-off of American Horror Story, has been renewed for a second season and will return later this summer to strike fear into the hearts of viewers. Now US broadcaster FX has released a first creepy trailer for the upcoming sequel, which promises the return of some well-known actors.

American Horror Stories Season 2: Launch

The US broadcaster FX has now announced the start date. The new episodes will be released on July 21, 2022 on the Hulu streaming service. In Germany you can see the series on Disney+. Season 2 should be shown there from September 2022.

Nothing definite can be said about the plot of the new season. As usual, most of the details surrounding the upcoming Season 2 of “American Horror Stories” remain a secret. FX has also donated a first trailer just before the start of the 2nd season. Among other things, we get our first look at actor Denis O’Hare, who will portray a creepy doll lover. But other deadly demons and scary creatures are also waiting for us in the new episodes.

American Horror Stories Season 1 brought back several “AHS” legends, including Billie Lourd (“Scream Queens”) and John Carroll Lynch (“Big Sky”, “Gaslit”). You can also look forward to the return of familiar faces in season 2.

Both “American Horror Story” star Denis O’Hare and Max Greenfield (“AHS: Hotel”) will appear in the new episodes. But you should also be familiar with Teddy Sears, Gabourey Sidibe, Seth Gabel, Cameron Cowperthwaite, Rebecca Dayan and Austin Woods from the parent series.

Nico Greetham and Cody Fern, who starred in American Horror Stories Season 1, will also return in the eight new episodes. New additions to the ensemble are well-known actors Bella Thorne and Alicia Silverstone.
