Ana de Armas shot next to James Bond in “No Time to Die”. Now she is supposed to be a killer in the “John Wick” spin-off “Ballerina”.
In “James Bond: No Time to Die” Ana de Armas (33) has already made a tough appearance as a CIA agent. Now she should according to “Deadline” play the title role in “Ballerina”, an offshoot of the “John Wick” films. The spin-off is about a young contract killer who wants to take revenge on the murderers of her family.
The character of the ballerina was already seen briefly in “John Wick 3”. The script comes from Shay Hatten (26), who wrote the script for the third part of the professional killer franchise. Directed by Len Wiseman (48, “Underworld”).
Not the only offshoot of “John Wick”
In addition to a fourth “John Wick” with Keanu Reeves (57), another offshoot is in the making: The miniseries “The Continental” about the origins of the hotel, which is frequented by hit men in the film series.
Ana de Armas turned off the action thriller “The Gray Man” after her lead-laden short appearance in “No Time to Die”. She can be seen on Netflix in “Blonde” in 2022 as film legend Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962).
