Apex Legends: EA Games makes a big decision

Layoffs continue in the video game sector. Electronic Arts already announced the loss of 670 jobs at the start of the year, but this time, he attacks a studio of contract workers who nevertheless work on Apex Legendsher Free-to-play FPS Battle Royale to success.

As reported InsiderGaming, EA Games would close Apex Legends’ English QA studio, terminating the contracts of around 40 employees. According to an anonymous source, the team was contacted via a call Zoom for a work meeting, telling them that their contracts were not going to be renewed. A massive blow for employees, even the managers and project leaders were apparently unaware of this announcement. EA Games would have justified itself by invoking “restructurings in the company”, despite the good results of the English team in its missions.

Founded in 2022, this English quality assurance team has been working on Apex Legends since the Season 16 (we are at the Season 20), with the mission of detecting all technical issues before the release of new content. Without them, we must hope that the next updates ofApex Legends are holding up, but the fans are worried… They can still find of the Apex Parts on Amazon.
