Who is Mad Maggie?
Margaret Kōhere, now better known as Mad Maggie, grew up in one of the most squalid corners of Salvo, with no family to surround her. Despite everything, she had the chance to meet another equally distraught soul in the guise of a young adventurer by the name of Walter Fitzroy. Both became inseparable and decided, as teenagers, to become mercenaries. The duo enlisted in the Split Talon, a powerful underground paramilitary group. It was in this context that Margaret earned her nom de guerre: Mad Maggie. But when rival warlord Sandringham Kelly signed a treaty with the Syndicate, Maggie lost hope of Salvo gaining her independence, while Fuse ditched her to compete in the Apex Games. Enough to let Maggie go “crazy”…
By sabotaging Fuse’s entry into the Apex Games, Maggie wanted to show how weak the Syndicate was, hoping to instigate a rebellion on Salvo.
Fuse mobilized a team to eliminate Maggie… But the antagonistic duo had to face the facts, each being forced to accept the other’s choice: Fuse would always prioritize pleasure, when Maggie would prioritize the cause. .One would have thought that Maggie would never recover from this exchange, but she was apprehended by the Syndicate and condemned to participate in the Apex Games until death ensued.
