In particular, the recently launched iPhone model 13 was in high demand. Apple’s sales jumped 29 percent in the third quarter, but the Americans are concerned about the worsening delivery bottlenecks.
Xiaomi fell again to third place with 44 million devices sold – significantly fewer than a year ago. Samsung Electronics remains unmatched at the top with 69.4 million smartphones that went over the counter, securing the South Koreans a market share of 21 percent.
From July to September 2020, however, they had unleashed more than 80 million devices. Fourth and fifth places went to Oppo and vivo from China.
