This is great news regarding the rapid development of urban electric mobility solutions.

Indeed, the 100% electric buses of the British company Arrival have just obtained the European sesame allowing them to circulate legally on the roads of the Old Continent.

Arrival buses… arrive near you!

Seven years after its launch, several prototypes and various partnerships with our friendly British neighbors, Arrival and its fleet seem ready to flood the European market. Indeed, the latter have obtained the approval European Whole Vehicle Type Approval (EUWTA), essential to be able to circulate within the United Kingdom and the European Union.

A decisive step therefore, a little over a year after the announcement of the development of 100% electric buses intended for use in the context of urban public transport. While recent news has highlighted doubts about the safety of electric buses in Paris, all the lights are green for Arrival. It remains to be seen now what the firm’s production schedule is and who its first customers will be, particularly in France. For the moment, no concrete date of circulation of the first bus signed Arrival in France is known.
