Every year the city center of Villach shines in an atmospheric glow of lights. And so that everything is ready in time for the beginning of Advent, we are already busy working on the Christmas lights. The ETK experts are currently in the process of transforming the parish tower back into a candle.
While city marketing is currently working on the exact program highlights for this year’s Villach Advent, the Christmas lights in the city are already being worked on. The lighting professionals from ETK have recently started to transform the church tower of the parish church back into a glowing Advent candle.
Over 120,000 points of light
For this, fairy lights with a length of a good ten kilometers have to be hung up. More than 120,000 points of light will make the church tower shine again during the Advent season. And the glowing canopy will again create an Advent atmosphere when you go skating on the ice rink.
“Winter wonder forest”
There will also be another light spectacle at the former Park Hotel. In the park, the “Winter Wonder Forest” will again attract people this year. The Christmas lights will be lit on November 12th. However, there will be no opening ceremony.
