After Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Aries of Hibernia released in 2022, Microids returns with a new title on the most famous Gauls of all time. And not just any since it is the second opus ofAsterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! the first episode of which was released in November 2021. Planned for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch, Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 will be released in November 2023.
In a Beat’em Up 2D format, Asterix and Obelix will be able to chain enemies in solo but also in local cooperation. The adventure takes place when the whole Gallic village finds itself interrupted in its occupations by the arrival of Goudurix who comes to claim their help. His father, Océanonix, was imprisoned for a theft he did not commit. After promising to lead the investigation, Asterix leaves with Obélix for Lutèce to solve the mystery of this theft and free Océanonix.
Compared to the first opus, Asterix and Obelix: Slap them All! 2 promises clashes against more enemies and fearsome bosses. The fights should also be more dynamic and more fluid, especially with the new specific moves that our two heroes will benefit from.
