(Boursier.com) — Auplata Mining Group (AMG) provides a new update on the closing of its annual financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2021.
Following the receipt on May 30 by the company of notification from San Antonio Securities, of its request for reimbursement in cash no later than July 31, 2022 of the current account advance with the company of a amount in principal plus interest of 28.4 million euros, the situation with regard to the closing of the 2021 annual accounts of the AMG group is as follows…
– Management and the financial teams are currently assessing the consequences of this post-closing event on the financial information before being able to close the accounts;
– Once these potential impacts have been assessed, the Board of Directors, on the advice of the Audit Committee, will approve the company and consolidated accounts so that the Statutory Auditors can certify the accounts and publish their reports, and so that the general meeting can to be summoned;
– Given the legal deadlines for convening a general meeting, the company filed a request on June 14, 2022 with the President of the Mixed Court of Cayenne to obtain an additional deadline, until September 30, 2022, to the holding of its annual general meeting.

The group, in collaboration with the various stakeholders, makes every effort:
– To analyze the consequences of this request in order to finalize and publish its Annual Report for the 2021 financial year as soon as possible;
– To hold the general meeting to approve the 2021 accounts no later than September 30, 2022.
