Note also that in 2031, Sam Worthington, who plays Jake Sully, will be 54, Sigourney Weaver, 81, and the director james cameron will be 76 years old.
The delays in the release dates of the films were explained by producer Jon Landau by the intense work of computer-generated imagery necessary for the production of each component.
He said on Twitter as follows: “Each Avatar film is an exciting yet epic endeavor that takes time to achieve the level of quality that the director strives for and audiences expect. The team works hard and looks forward to bringing viewers back to Pandora in December 2025.”
