(CercleFinance.com) – BAE Systems announces that it has been awarded a three-year, $2.8 million contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory as part of the Complexity Modeling in Multiple Domains (COMMAND) program.
It will be a question of developing a new approach in order to overcome adversaries by ‘overwhelming them with complexity’.
To do this, BAE Systems will have to identify the adversary’s decision-making processes and then model them. It will then be a question of estimating how different attacks can affect the adversary’s ability to react and, ultimately, lead to indecision and strategic paralysis.
“Using ‘complexity’ as an attack surface, this technology will shape how information flows through an adversary’s decision-making process,” BAE Systems summarizes.
