While a lot of color is popular when it comes to fashion and nails in 2024, we tend to hold back when it comes to make-up and hairstyles. Ballet Beauty is currently setting the tone, meaning: sleek bun, rosy cheeks, little eye make-up and delicate bows.
Re-style the sleek bun
Long styling is currently not necessary with our hair. They don’t even have to be freshly washed – on the contrary. A light film of grease at the base provides more grip and makes the so-called sleek bun look smoother. The strict ballerina bun removes annoying strands from the face and is easy to imitate.
Depending on the length and thickness of your hair, you will need two to three normal braid elastics; it is best to choose the color that matches the hair tone.

Delicate bows and subtle accessories
The simple sleek bun can be quickly upgraded with a simple accessory: a delicate ribbon that is tied into a bow around the bun. Here you can choose classic black, but also colors such as dark green or red. Bows are absolutely popular right now anyway. When it comes to jewelry, we rely on delicate necklaces with small pendants and simple, small stud earrings for the ballet beauty look.
This is how you create the no-makeup look
Make-up also requires only a few products and a few simple steps. All you need is a concealer that matches your skin tone, a beauty sponge for application, a little powder, peach-colored blush, light eye shadow with light shimmer particles, highlighter and mascara. First apply the concealer to the dark circles under the eyes, the bridge of the nose and the chin and work it in well with the beauty sponge. Fix the make-up with powder.
Then apply the blush to your cheeks, don’t skimp here. This is followed by highlighter for the cheekbones and eyeshadow, which should be applied primarily to the inner corner of the eyelid.
