  • The colors, the actors, the music – “Barbie” currently has a lot to offer!
  • The soundtrack to the successful cinema film has already been released, but the digital version offers two advantages.
  • You get to hear two cover versions, one of them sung by Ken himself, Ryan Gosling.

Not only “I’m Just Ken”, but the entire soundtrack to the film “Barbie” is currently in great demand. “Barbie: The Album” includes new songs from stars like Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Billie Eilish and Sam Smith and ensures the best summer mood regardless of the film.

However, you can now enjoy even more kenergy with the “Best Weekend Ever Edition” of the soundtrack, which was released digitally at the same time as the regular soundtrack. This version of the album was expanded by two cover versions, so you can hear Brandi Carlile and Catherine Carlile with the song “Closer to Fine”, which actually comes from the Indigo Girls.

The soundtrack also features another Ryan Gosling song, Ken’s cover version of Matchbox Twenty’s “Push”. Ken sang this song for Barbie in the movie and now you can listen to it over and over again. It’s probably due to the rights of the original songs that these cover versions didn’t make it onto the CD soundtrack.

“Barbie” managed, just like “Oppenheimer”, to fully recoup its own budget on the first weekend. Now only “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part 1” and “Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny” have to manage not to go down in history as a flop.
