On Wednesday March 6, 2024, the M6 group confirmed the filming of a new All Stars season of Beijing Express. Key pairs from the show presented by Stéphane Rotenberg should make their comeback.
Broadcast since 2006 on M6, the show Beijing Express has enjoyed great success in recent years. While season 18 titled “In the footsteps of the golden tiger” is currently broadcast, a big announcement should delight fans. Indeed, on Wednesday March 6, the M6 group held a press conference. During this event, the filming of a All Stars season of the adventure game has been made official.
The next season of Beijing Express will represent the sixth edition of All Stars. In general, the production organizes these special editions every two years. The last one dates from 2022 and brought together French personalities. This year, former emblematic candidates should however make their return to the adventure.
Stéphane Rotenberg shares some secrets about the All Stars season
The day after the confirmation of an All Stars season of Beijing Express, Stéphane Rotenberg revealed a video on social networks. “I have exclusive information! This year, there will be two ‘Pékin’ on M6, the current and main one, and then there will be a ‘Pékin All Stars’ which will arrive later. I’m in Roissy because I’m going to shoot, I’m leaving by plane” he revealed. For the moment, the host wanted to keep the destination secret in order to “maintain the suspense” for the candidates.
If this special season should arrive on M6 in a few months, the casting has not yet been revealed. For now, flagship pairs like Fabrice and Briac (season 12), Rose-Marie and Cinzia (season 14), Claire and Christophe (season 14), Axel and Jean-Claude (season 15), Clément and Émeline (season 17) or Nathalie and Angie (season 17) would have been approached. For their part, Alexandre and Chirine denied their participation after prolonging the suspense. “You can imagine that if we did, we wouldn’t have the right to say it” said the finalist of the last season. This new edition already promises to be exceptional.
