Benjamin Castaldi: this expensive and not very ecological star requirement that he had asked for at the time of Secret Story

This Tuesday in Touche pas à mon poste, Cyril Hanouna made revelations about certain star requirements. In the lot, we found an old request from Benjamin Castaldi, from the time he hosted Secret Story.

Unlike some columnists from Touche not at my post, Benjamin Castaldi did not wait to arrive on C8 to achieve national fame. Indeed, it was in the early 2000s, when he hosted Loft Story, then Secret Story, that the presenter became known to the general public. A prosperous period for Benjamin Castaldi who probably did not lack money, to the point of having rather expensive requirements. According to the revelations of Cyril Hanouna, the host had asked, at the time, to return home by helicopter after each bonus of Secret Story. The reason for this rather pompous request? Benjamin Castaldi was eager to find his son. “At the time, I was divorced“, remembers the facilitator before adding, in reference to his eventful love life: “so far, nothing new!“. He pursues : “I just wanted to go back to the countryside once a week so I could put my little one to bed. And the only way to do it was to take a helicopter after the Thursday show. ” If Benjamin Castaldi allowed himself a rather expensive request, he nevertheless specifies that he financed half of this organization, which cost, by the way, approximately “4000 euros per hour”. A revelation that surprised many of his comrades on the Touche set not at my post, including Cyril Hanouna, who exclaimed: “Castaldi, he lives in another world!”.

Benjamin Castaldi: this crazy amount he spent after each bonus

A columnist still came to the rescue of Benjamin Castaldi. Indeed, Bernard Montiel, assured to understand the attitude of his colleague. “He had so much money at one time that he had fun, I think that’s good too!“, said the latter before adding: “But pleasure is expensive, especially since if you keep the helicopter, you pay for the helicopter all night, it’s like a private jet”, in reference to the fact that the pilot of the helicopter slept at Benjamin Castaldi’s who flew away again the next morning. A total sum which then amounted to 10,000 euros per bonus according to the columnist, and which was shared between Benjamin Castaldi and TF1. “5,000 euros per bonus, there are 4 bonuses per month, that’s 20,000 euros for you to go by helicopter to play the fool“, pointed out Cyril Hanouna, disapproving.
