The recipe ingredients for approximately 3 people:

  • 300 g tomato puree
  • 400g gnocchi
  • 250 g of 5% minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 200 ml of broth
  • 1 mozzarella (125 g)

The steps of the recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 210 degrees in grill mode.
  2. Heat the broth in a saucepan.
  3. Then take care of the sauce, starting by chopping the onion and carrot into small cubes.
  4. Brown everything with a little olive oil in a pan for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. When your vegetables have started to color, add the minced meat. When the meat starts to cook, add the chopped garlic.
  6. When the meat is almost cooked, it’s time to add the tomato puree. Flavor your sauce with basil, vinegar and stock. Don’t forget to add a tablespoon of sugar to counterbalance the acidity of the tomatoes. Mix well, cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. Once the sauce is well simmered, add the gnocchi, mix and cook for 5 to 8 minutes covered over medium-low heat.
  8. Arrange your preparation in a baking dish and sprinkle it with mozzarella pieces.
  9. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes depending on your oven.
