Israel launched a new wave of bombing on the northern Gaza Strip this Friday. Invited to the microphone of Europe 1 by Pierre de Vilno, His Excellency Raphaël Morav, Israeli ambassador to France, these bombings are still part of the preparations for the major land operation that the IDF wishes to carry out.
This Friday, Israel carried out unprecedented bombings on the northern Gaza Strip. According to the Hamas terrorist movement, communications and the Internet have been cut in the city. Events which suggest that the Israeli ground operation is imminent. Invited to the microphone of Pierre de Vilno on Europe 1, His Excellency Raphaël Morav, Israeli ambassador to France, affirms that this is still part of the preparations for this land operation.
The operation will be ground-based, but not massive: “Hamas’s command and communications center is under the largest hospital in Gaza. An operation is needed on the ground, surgically, to avoid any civilian casualties.” Furthermore, the Israeli army announced that it would “expand its ground operations” in the Gaza Strip. The IDF’s objective is “to eradicate all terrorist groups from the Gaza Strip” so that “we can have a sense of peace with the Gazans.”
