Israel launched a new wave of bombing on the northern Gaza Strip this Friday. The operation will be ground-based, but not massive: “Hamas’s command and communications center is under the largest hospital in Gaza. An operation is needed on the ground, surgically, to avoid any civilian casualties.” Furthermore, the Israeli army announced that it would “expand its ground operations” in the Gaza Strip. The IDF’s objective is “to eradicate all terrorist groups from the Gaza Strip” so that “we can have a sense of peace with the Gazans.”
